Returns & Exchanges
We are a small craft food business and do not accept product returns or exchanges. All sales are final.
Taste / Texture Concerns
The nature of small batch artisanal craft food production is that every batch is a little different, and that both the taste and texture may be unlike other commercially mass-produced nut butters and snacks. For this reason we do not offer refunds for taste or texture complaints.
However, if ever a product ever does not meet your expectations for the high quality experience you are accustomed to from Philosopher Foods please contact us right away so that we can address your concern.
Broken, Damaged, or Leaking Products
If your order is broken or damaged, including leaking lids, you must keep all the contents of your package, including products and packaging materials, and you may need to provide detailed photo evidence of the condition that your package arrived in. DO NOT DISCARD DAMAGED PRODUCTS OR PACKAGING. Refunds and replacements will not be given if the above guideline is not followed.
Lost or Stolen packages
If your order appears to be stalled or lost in transit we will require a wait time of 2 weeks before we consider the package lost. This is the amount of time required by our carrier partners before we can file a claim. Sometimes packages do start moving towards their destination again even when the tracking information looks bleak!
If you suspect that your package was stolen because it did not arrive even though the tracking information shows a "delivered" status we request that you:
a) Check with your neighbors, front reception, and with anyone else who might have received the package.
b) Wait an additional 48 hours before contacting us as occasionally packages do still appear!

If you have a damaged or lost order please send us a message within 7 days of your shipment delivery date so that we can assist you.
We highly recommend that all customers purchase the convenience of hassle-free InsureShield package protection to guarantee their order no matter what has happened to it.
Changing or Canceling an Order
If you need to cancel or make changes to your order please reach out to us as soon as possible so that we can assist you. If your order has not been fulfilled yet we are happy to cancel or make changes, however if your order has already been shipped we are unable to intervene at that point and the responsibility of the order as it was placed is solely on the consumer.
